The Agreement, concluded between the United Nations and Mali on 1 July 2013, regulates the status of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
MINUSMA shall enjoy the privileges and immunities established under the Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations.
Officials of the United Nations assigned to the civilian component to serve with UNMIL, as well as United Nations Volunteers who shall be assimilated thereto, remain officials of the United Nations entitled to the privileges and immunities of articles V and VII of the Convention.
Military observers, United Nations civilian police and civilian personnel other than United Nations officials, shall have the privileges and immunities provided under the Convention. Military personnel of national contingents assigned to the military component of UNMIL shall have the privileges and immunities specifically provided for in the present Agreement.
