The Agreement establishes and regulates the Headquarters of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in India.
It also provides that the international Status of the Institute shall be ensured by the Government of India by issuing a Notification pursuant to the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Act to apply some provisions of the Act to ICRISAT.
