Baldwin v. United Nations Security Council

Yvette Baldwin, a resident in Ohio, sued the Security of Council of the United Nations before the District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Upholding the recommendations of the Magistrate, the District Court dismissed the case. The Court found the legal action ill-founded. In addition, according to the Magistrate’s recommendations and the Court’s decision, the applicant failed to state a claim upon which a relief my be granted from a defendant which enjoys absolute immunity from legal process, pursuant to the Convention on Privileges and immunities of the United Nations.
